Natasha was born and raised in London, where the city’s vibrancy sparked her love for curating unforgettable events. Aaron was born and raised in Birmingham, where he built a career in IT before establishing his own chauffeur company. Though their lives began in different cities, fate had plans that would soon intertwine their worlds.
One weekend in Birmingham, Natasha attended an event she had RSVP’d to weeks before. The gathering was held in a beautifully restored historic venue, filled with character and charm. Arriving on her own, she had no idea that this simple meet up would mark the beginning of a life changing journey.
Aaron almost didn’t go to the meet up. Driving home from work, rain drummed steadily against the car — the kind of downpour that made the thought of going straight home feel irresistible. As he passed his own street, the temptation to turn back lingered. Yet somehow, he kept going, guided by something he couldn’t quite name.
When he arrived at the venue, the rain was still falling. He stepped inside and quickly forgot about the weather when he saw Natasha. There was something about her that drew him in. He inhaled, gathering courage as he walked over to her, and said “hello”.
On weekends, Aaron would drive down to London, the journey itself becoming a ritual he secretly cherished. Through Natasha’s eyes, he discovered the city. The rhythm of live concerts, theatre plays, long lunches, candlelit dinners, and an endless carousel of social events that seemed to make every moment sparkle.
One quiet afternoon, parked on a familiar street after a weekend together, Aaron turned to her and asked, “So… are we a couple?”
Natasha smiled, as if revealing a secret that had always been there. “I think we’ve always been a couple,” she said.
Their wedding is a take on the concept “from Darkness to Light”. The darkness symbolises the shadows of the past as they let go of what no longer serves them. The light embodies a present and future that’s illuminated with healing, spiritual awakening and love.

Months passed, and when the time finally came to plan their engagement, it wasn’t a question of if — it was only a matter of when. The engagement celebration was anything but ordinary. Guests arrived to drinks, sat down to dinner, only to be swept into full scale ceremony.
A Vicar, called the room to attention, Natasha walked down the aisle flanked by bridesmaids, vows were exchanged, and the crowd held its collective breath. “I now pronounce you…” she began, and a pin-drop silence fell over the room. Then, with a sly smile, she finished, “…engaged!” and everyone exhaled in relief and delight.
The festivities didn’t stop there. A “trash-the-dress” moment erupted in glorious chaos as guests gleefully snipped, tore, and reshaped Natasha’ gown, turning the celebration into a riot of laughter and playful mischief. Cake was smashed, champagne flowed, and hearts were full—all part of a theatrical ruse, a teasing prelude to the real wedding yet to come.
